9/11, a day forever remembered in our minds,
When forces of evil took innocent lives
With no warning signs.
America was attacked on that beautiful sunny day;
Within a matter of minutes, our blue skies turned gray.
Our country wept for the lives that were taken,
But even through this tragedy, our faith was not shaken.
America pulled together and hearts were stirred indeed
As fearless men and women rushed to those in need.
Yes our freedom that day was put to the test,
But Old Glory flew with pride
For AMERICA IS THE BEST!!
As September eleventh comes around,
we remember the two beautiful towers that fell to the ground.
It was an act of terrorism this we know,
and the tears of America now show.
This country is going to war,
more of our woman and men will be lost for sure.
Now time has passed about a year,
from when we lost those lives so dear.
This time will we just sit and watch this war?
Or will we stand and fight for something more?
Will our country stand and fight for justice?
Yes it will and not for just this.
We will fight for the lives that were lost,
and for the peace and security that they cost.
The deep water that seems to surround us now will soon be drained,
and America will rise again to reign.
I lit a candle outside... trying to remember so many names...... remembering how many died...... and so many families left unsaid.... some still wishing for that one day to come... they will get a call saying they found their loved one...
Upon the light of Angels wings
Taken away our suffering
Remembrance of life now gone
Brings new light to a nation wronged
Red for the blood shed with the rising sun
Blue for the sadness deep in our hearts
White for the Angels in Heaven new
Stars for the souls taken too soon
Shed no tears of pain
But tears of joy
A nation reborn
Freedom cannot be destroyed
From this dim-lit porch my gaze implores
....Beyond the boundaries of these shores,
And seeks that cove chaste covenants
Bequeathed as scatheless harbor.
Where anchor'd taut I'd face no foe,
For augurs proffered that no woe
Should visit there upon that place
Where Angels sing with ardor.
Still the light shines true for just the few
who reach that radiant harbor.
That lucent shore; where soul's delights
Do liken to the feverish flights that,
Flitting midst a child's dream,
Excite a Godly chord.
As child-like must one meet the tryst,
For wavering now would but divest
The seeker of his sanctitude,
And thus, his blest reward.
Leave now the earth give way, for it wields no sway 'pon
the sparrows that circle the shore!
Now, dolefully, a drawn child's plea rips
O'er the dark, dissonant sea
And hurtles toward the alien void
That veils it from its fate.
A plea so urgent that it bores
Into the holds of teary scores,
Whose wanting ears tilt toward the stars
That monk-like whisper w a i t.
W A I T.
...wait?...my faith is staunch;
the keel that buoys me 'bove the fray;
that sails me through the evil days
that TOIL AND F E T T E R ME !
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .and, yes. . . . .the horizon lurks. . .
The porch lamp flickers - the vision fades,
While the venders of this world invade
My wisp of beach - bereft of claim -
And take it as their score.
I'll not render unto them their bill;
Nor cede them now my truest will:
To sing with Angels Joyous paeans
By the Light from distant shore.
We watched as people suffered and died, as orphans and widows prayed and cried, as the planes hit the towers the world held its breath, as everyone saw the destruction and death, the workers stopped working the teachers stopped teaching, all the alarms sounded and the preachers kept preaching, we could all feel the pain of the people stuck up there burning, and when another person jumped our stomachs started churning, everyone was on their knee's praying for the souls, that were going up to heaven and had lost their dreams and goals, we were losing all hope as the number of death's got higher, and our anger kept growing in our hearts like fire, the day September 11th would now be a very important date, the day everyone everywhere would question their fate, this would be the day that our courage shows bright, for everyone around was helping with all their might, all those people dead with not even a grave, but the helpers still worked with the hope that another they might save, after all the destruction was done all we could do is give, so we waited in lines miles long to give blood so someone might live, now where the twin towers had once stood is a pile of ash, and everyone alive will always remember the day of this terrible crash, that took the lives of so many that didn't want to die, this day when smoke and ash filled the New York sky, this is our country, the land of the brave and free, this is a country that everyone should see, with our colors red, white and blue, and forever and ever we will shine through. This is our country and it is AMERICA!
Angels of high unite
Let there be peace in the world tonight
Take away our fears,
Wipe away our tears,
Take away our anger and pain.
Our hearts are heavy,
Embrace us, give us hope
Replace hatred with love,
Sorrow with memories of joy,
Let our hearts be light
Angels of high unite
Bring peace to us tonight.
On their way that morning to their destinations. Some for jobs, some for home, and some for celebrations.
266 souls were taken away. This was all done within a few hours of this day. Lasting of course a lifetime, by this horrific crime.

HEROES they remain! ANGELS of ours! Our memories of them are forever stained. With our flag of 13 Stripes and 50 Stars!
Sometime tomorrow, we'll be alright Sometime tomorrow, our futures will look bright But for today..we'll just have to hold on Cause, sometime tomorrow, may never come.
Sometime tomorrow, there could come a time, That, sometime tomorrow, everything will be fine. But, for today..we'll just have to wait, Cause, sometime tomorrow could be too late.
Sometime tomorrow, the pain could go away, Sometime tomorrow, it very well could stay. But, for today..we'll just try and comprehend, Cause, sometime tomorrow, may bring another plan.
Sometime tomorrow, we'll just keep wondering on and on, Sometime tomorrow, we may learn where we belong. But, for today..we'll just keep hanging around, Cause, sometime tomorrow, our future will be found.
Sometime tomorrow, I just know he'll lead us there, Sometime tomorrow, it could be anywhere. But, for today..we'll trust in him even more, Cause, sometime tomorrow, we'll walk through Heaven's door.
Those who are asking, "where was God September eleventh 2001,"
Beware of doubt, he maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth.
He was at battle with Satan. From the beginning Satan has been
lurking in the dark, trying to destroy man and all that he is worth.
Satan pretends to be man's best friend, tricking him into blindness,
pretending that wonderful things and greatness will come to him who is evil.
Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made
in the earth. Overcome evil with good...be not overcome of evil.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath:
For it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord,
Romans 12:19. Man must not question God. Satan has always caused great destruction
Gods Angels take control, placing in Christ hands the believers of his word.
Through the Twin Towers of blazing Hell, Gods angels swept,
saving people from the intended devastation of evil men and Satan.
Morn and weep no more, rejoice for knowing the love of those who were
Chosen by God to return to his kingdom of heaven, with eternal life for man.
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be
Lord both of the dead and the living, Romans 14:9. For God so loved
The world he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him.
Should not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16. Ask and thou shall be saved.
For all who live, there will be a time to die, not to their choosing when or why.
Be ready when God unexpectedly appears, trust his promise and doubt him never
For he will send his son our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ with his angels
to gather those who chose to believe, for only through death can man live forever.
AMEN
This day started like many others
As you kissed your loved ones good-bye
To take upon your duty as a Rescuer, Officer, Firefighter, or
Taxi cab driver and various other kinds.
You shook your friends hand not knowing it was for the last time
All the same routines done, then you walked away.
Forever this memory will remain in my mind
At 8:45 a.m. your families, friends, and colleagues life was altered.
Changed it was. Forever.
The first plane had already struck; by the time you arrived at WTC.
The second plane was on its way.
While youre in the building, that is, as you searched, carried, and
Helped others to safety.
Still you remained.
One hour and thirteen minutes passed and as you helped more people out,
The tower youre in collapses upon you.
Out on the street, the pieces of the building came launching towards you.
As youre in the north tower, rescuing and helping,
Thoughts of your colleagues kept coming into mind.
Then came 10:28 a.m. and it was gone,
Time, the Towers and all of you!
Vanished in the ruins of this tragic day in history,
Though never gone from our minds, not family, friends or all those strangers.
Vanished in the street as the debris heaved forward and engulfs the ground. Never lost in
our hearts, youre our guardian angles!
Your bravery, kindness, unselfishness, and love for others,
Is what we think of when we think of all of you, our HEROES!
On this fateful day a year ago
Some they tried destruction sow.
Their lives they gave to freedom hinder
As we watched our buildings cinder.
But liberty is not easily checked
Nor independence so lightly wrecked.
Though together we cried in pain
As our brothers we watched slain,
A phoenix now they watch rise
They tremble from its piercing eyes.
Anger though is not our creed,
Mercy rather in song and deed.
Together now let's speak of love,
And fly our banner, oh peaceful dove.
